The liver is the largest organ in the body. It performs many essential functions related to digestion, metabolism, immunity, and the storage of nutrients within the body. Here after are liver functions:

Removes potentially toxic byproducts of certain medications.

Metabolixes, or breakdown, nutrients from food to produce energy, when needed.

Helps your body fight infection by removing bacteria from the blood.

Produces most of the substances that regulate blood clotting.

Prevents shortages of nutrients by storing vitamins, minerals and sugar.

Produces most proteins needed by the body.

Produces bile, a compound needed to digest fat and to absorb vitamn A, D, E, and K.

The liver is vital for filtering toxins out of your body. If you are putting too many toxins in your body, it may be possible to overwork your liver.

Unexplained weight gain
The liver is responsible for metabolizing fat but fat will just come back to the organ once it’s function is reduced, and cause you to gain weight.

Skin problems
As yout liver plays a vital role on purifying blood, a weak liver can lead to numerous skin problems. Ance, rashes, puffy eyes, eczema and other skin problems may signal a toxic overload.

High cholesterol levels
A sudden increase in cholesterol levels can be a sign of immediately to rule out chances of a faulty liver.

Bad breath
If your oral health and hygiene are good, but still suffer from a bad breath, you might have a problem with your liver.

Chronic fatigue
