“NAVIGATING PRE-TEENS & PUBERTY”: A COLLABORATIVE HEALTH TALK AT AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL (AIH)

On the morning of May 14, 2025, a health talk titled "Navigating Pre-Teens & Puberty" took place at American International Hospital. The health talk was led by Dr. Jadranka Mihajlovic (Internal Medicine), Dr. Orly Dafni Attia (Pediatrics), and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Anh (Gynecology), and attracted strong interest from parents, educators, and professionals in child health and education.

During the event, the doctors shared in-depth and practical medical knowledge about puberty – a stage of development marked by significant physical and emotional changes in children. Topics covered included endocrine health, the role of micronutrients, key developmental milestones, physiological changes, reproductive health, and how to prepare girls mentally and emotionally for this transitional phase.

The health talk also provided an open forum for participants to ask questions, share personal experiences, and receive direct advice from the expert panel – helping them better understand the signs, psychological needs, and appropriate care for children going through puberty.

The active participation of attendees created a vibrant, engaging, and meaningful atmosphere.
