JOB DESCRIPTION
Quality control of POCT of AIH and hospital
Maintains established departemental and procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental, infection control standards and documents.
Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and blood donor phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
Perform diagnostic testing in hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, blood banking/transfusion service according to established procedures
Recognizing results or problems that require verify, make appropriate decisions or report to the manager
Perform and analyze quality control measures for all methods, make appropriate decisions regarding accuracy of results, and solve quality control/patient result problems
Reports results and maintains both written computer records of all tests.
Analysis for External quality assessment and ensure that quality control testing and verification is completed within the section
Operates laboratory equipement and daily maintenance as necessary. Performs quality control checks on instruments and equipement due to supplyer guidance and identifies mechanical problems and either performs the necessary adjustments on the small problem or under the guidance of supplier engineer.
Ensure that preventative maintenance of equipment is performed and documented. Initiates repairs on malfunction equipment
Uses efficient learning techniques to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills; uses training, feedback or other opportunities for self-learning and development
Willing to participate in training, continuous training according to work needs or the management's success
Inventory of chemicals, prepare purchase requests and ensure sufficient chemicals and objects to perform tests assigned to manage
Investigation and documents incidents and problems take appropriate actions and follows up with staffs
Provide report at weekly department meetings regarding their section.
Performed other related duties as assigned or requested by Lab technician Manager and Deputy Head of Lab.
JOB REQUEST
Bachelor’s Degree of technical laboratory or in biology
Medical practice certificate about specialized laboratory
At least 01 (one) years Lab experience required
Fluency in Vietnamese and English
Good communication skills required.
