Dengue fever is an acute infectious disease caused by the Dengue virus, capable of causing outbreaks, and currently, there is no specific treatment available. Previously, Vietnam did not have a dengue fever vaccine. However, the Qdenga dengue vaccine, manufactured by Takeda (Japan) in Germany and approved by the Ministry of Health, is now available at the American International Hospital (AIH).

Amid the surge in new measles cases, the most effective preventive measure remains ensuring that children who have not yet been vaccinated or have not completed the two-dose measles vaccination series receive timely immunization at healthcare centers. Currently, the monovalent measles vaccine MVVAC (10 doses/5 ml), developed and manufactured by Polyvac – Vietnam, is available at American International Hospital (AIH) to meet the early vaccination needs of children.
