CONSULTATION PROGRAM "CERVICAL SPINE PAIN - LUMBAR SPINE PAIN" AT AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL (AIH)
On March 26 – 27, 2025, American International Hospital (AIH) successfully organized a free consultation program "Cervical Spine & Lumbar Spine Pain" with the participation of Dr. Nguyễn Viết Thịnh - Deputy Head of General Surgery, American International Hospital and Dr. David Wong Him Choon - Orthopedics Department, Raffles Hospital Singapore.
As part of the program, more than 40 patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions—such as cervical spine pain, lumbar spine pain, herniated discs, and neck and shoulder pain—had the opportunity to meet and receive 1:1 consultations with Dr. Nguyễn Viết Thịnh and Dr. David Wong Him Choon.
During the examination, the doctors observed that many patients are dealing with serious musculoskeletal conditions caused by various factors, resulting in persistent pain. Despite receiving treatment at multiple places, their condition has not improved, leading to limited mobility and impacting their quality of life. As a result, patients hope for an accurate diagnosis and a more suitable and effective treatment plan.
At the Orthopedics Department of American International Hospital (AIH), during the consultation and treatment process, doctors will apply the latest methods, techniques, and treatment protocols according to international standards. Most importantly, orthopedics specialists will collaborate with physical rehabilitation therapists to develop treatment plans and design personalized exercise regimens for each patient. These plans are based on a comprehensive patient assessment considering various factors: disease severity, occupation, sports habits, other medical conditions, and the patient's suitable exercise schedule.
Besides, AIH is equipped with modern machinery and equipment to support pain relief and shorten recovery times. The ideal treatment environment provides the best support for patients to participate in exercises and quickly return to normal mobility.
